Klondike Overlay Project to Start Soon

City Works Employee Larry Joubert, filling in for Director Les Hook, in his report to the Buffalo City Council, said the Klondike Drive Overlay Project would begin sooner than anticipated.

The project is a pavement overlay on the portion of Klondike Drive owned by the city from Yukon Lane to Fullerton Avenue.

Simon Construction was awarded the roughly $394,000 project.

Joubert also said city crews have a few more chip seal projects to finish before the end of the year, weather permitting.

The approaches on the side streets on the Fetterman paving project as well as a patch on Lucas Street all need sealed, according to Joubert.
