Saturday is the Gatchell’s Living History Day
The Johnson County Jim Gatchell Memorial Museum in Buffalo will have their annual Living History Day Saturday at the museum and surrounding area, after a one-year hiatus due to COVID restrictions.
Museum Educator Jennifer Romanoski said the museum is excited to be offering programs once again, including Living History Day.
Romanoski said the Living History Day is popular not only with public but the experts that help put the event on.
Living History Day is free to attend and is scheduled for Saturday from 9am to 2pm and will feature a number of new living history activities to offer something different for those who have made a tradition of coming back year afteryear.
The museum will have free admission to the museum itself and the Living History Day events and there will be free refreshments offered throughout the day.
The Johnson County Jim Gatchell Memorial Museum is located at 100 Fort Street, at the corner of Main and Fort Streets.
