This Privacy Policy explains how Lovecom, Inc., doing business as Sheridan Media ("Sheridan Media," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and protects information when you visit sheridanmedia.com or use our other websites, apps, and services (collectively, the "Services").
Information We Collect
Information you provide. If you contact us, submit a classified ad, garage sale listing, contest entry, event submission, news tip, or similar form on our site, we collect the information you enter, such as your name, email address, phone number, and the content of your submission.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our servers and analytics tools automatically log certain information when you visit, including your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and the date and time of your visit.
Cookies and Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect standard internet log information and visitor behavior in an anonymous form. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or adjust cookie preferences in your browser settings at any time.
Advertising
Sheridan Media displays advertising on our website, including third-party ads served through the Advanced Ads platform. Advertisers and ad-serving partners may use cookies or similar technologies to measure ad performance and, in some cases, to show ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. We do not share the personal information you submit directly to us (such as through a contact or classifieds form) with advertisers for their own marketing use. You can manage interest-based advertising preferences through your browser settings or through opt-out tools offered by the Digital Advertising Alliance.
How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to operate and improve our website and broadcast services, respond to inquiries, publish classifieds, contest entries, and community submissions you ask us to post, understand site usage through analytics, and serve advertising that supports our free content. We do not sell your personal information.

Text Messaging (SMS)
Sheridan Media operates an internal staff text-message notification program called Sheridan Media Relay, used only by current Sheridan Media employees through our staff portal at sheridanmedia.tv/work. This section explains how we handle mobile phone numbers in that program. Full details are in our SMS Terms & Conditions.
How we collect mobile numbers
Employees enter their own mobile number into a web form in their account settings on the staff portal and check a box to enable text notifications. Text messaging is off by default and is never enabled on an employee’s behalf. We do not purchase, rent, or import phone numbers from third parties, and we do not collect mobile numbers from the general public for this program.
How we use mobile numbers
Mobile numbers are used solely to deliver the work notifications the employee selected: work request assignments, calendar bookings, private messages within the staff portal, urgent office announcements, workplace emergency and safety alerts, and broadcast equipment outage alerts for engineering staff. We do not use these numbers for marketing, advertising, or promotional messages.
Sharing of mobile information
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All of the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
The only disclosure of a mobile number is to our SMS delivery provider, acting solely as our processor for the technical purpose of transmitting these messages. We do not sell, rent, or trade mobile numbers or SMS consent to anyone.
Opting out and getting help
Reply STOP to any message to cancel all messages to that number, or HELP for help. Employees may also turn text notifications off — entirely, or for individual notification types — in the settings page of the staff portal. Message frequency varies by role and is typically a few messages per day. Message and data rates may apply.
Retention
A mobile number is retained only while the employee chooses to receive messages, and is removed when the employee deletes it in settings, replies STOP, or leaves Sheridan Media.
