Multi-Day Passes for Mikesell Potts Available May 1st

The Mikesell-Potts Recreation Area at Lake DeSmet will begin offering multi-day passes for Johnson County residents beginning May 1st, according to a release from Johnson County.

A seven-day pass for a non-electrical campsite is $84 and a 14-day pass is $168.

A seven-day pass for an electrical site is $120 and $252 for a 14-day pass.

Regular daily camping rates are $15 for a space without electricity and $20 per day for electrical hookups.

Multi-day passes must be purchased at Johnson County Road & Bridge, located at 325 Butte Street in Buffalo.

The application is also available online on the county website.

County residents must provide proof of residency with a property tax receipt or vehicle registration with a Johnson County Address.
