Children’s Star Wars Event

The 307 Discovery Center, located at 556 Broadway St. is hosting an event this Saturday, May 1 at 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. There will be a costume contest at 11 a.m.

Children can create a lightsaber, experiment with “the force” of magnets and rescue Jedi and Han Solo.
