Johnson County Accepts Forest Service Grant

Aaron PalmerJohnson County’s Commissioners have approved and accepted a modification to a grant agreement from the US Forest Service through the Bighorn National Forest.
Sheriff Rod Odenbach and Undersheriff Pat Monroe explained more about the grant.
The $4,000 grant will be used to cover the cost of sheriff’s deputies to patrol roads, campgrounds, and other areas of the Big Horn National Forest for performing law enforcement duties for the forest service during the busy summer months.
