Jo Co Commission Approves Amendment to TANF Grant Agreement

Johnson County’s Commissioners considered an amendment to an existing agreement with the Wyoming Department of Family Services for the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families Community Partnership Initiative (TANF CPI) grant program.

Commissioner’s Administrative Assistant Kristen LaDuke explained the need for the amendment to the agreement.

According to discussion at the meeting, the county’s overall award amount for the grant will not change, but the allocation to the Boys and Girls Club will change, taking the amount originally allocated to the Buffalo Children’s Center for the fiscal year with the state approving the reallocation.

The commission voted to approve the amendment.
