Game and Fish Seek Public Input on Lake DeSmet Fishery

Lake trout have been present in Lake DeSmet for many years, and recent Game and Fish surveys indicate a strong population with the potential for significant growth in the coming years. 

To alert the public and hear their thoughts, the Game and Fish recently conducted a survey which was sent to Wyoming Game and Fish Department fishing license holders.

The first public meeting from 6 p.m. – 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 22 will be held at the Sheridan Regional Office, 700 Valley View Dr.

The second public meeting will be 6 p.m. – 7 p.m. Thursday Sept. 24 at the Johnson County Library, located at 171 N. Adams Ave. in Buffalo.
