The Sheridan City Council met for their first regular business meeting of August Monday night. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.

Council Approves Ownership Transfer of Small Section of Road in North Sheridan

Sheridan County owns interest in property that contains East Kooi Street, also known as Kooi Extension.  This interest was obtained from Quitclaim Deeds executed in the 1960s to create East Kooi Street within blocks 7 and 8  of the Suburban Homes Company Addition subdivision that was platted in 1913. The City Council, at their meeting Monday night, approved the transfer of all Sheridan County interest in real property of East Kooi Street to the City. Mayor Rich Bridger.

Other business from the meeting included the Council awarding the bid for the Terra-Turner Rotomill and Overlay project to Simon Contractors in the amount of $2.5 million.
