JCHC CEO: Accreditation Achieved by Facility
In his report to the Hospital Board Wednesday night, Johnson County Healthcare Center CEO Sean McCallister shared some good news concerning the facility’s new 3D Mammography Department.
McCalister also reported that a physician will be doing a site visit/informal interview next week.
Volunteers, who have been absent during the COVID-19 pandemic, are looking to start working again in the facility’s gift shop and elsewhere.
McCallister said they may be used at entrances for symptom screening of visitors.
A nurse practitioner from Big Horn Pediatrics in Gillette has informed McCallister of their intent to open a clinic in Buffalo.
McCallister said his thought is it wont be just pediatrics but a family medicine clinic.
Although that would make three clinics operating here with a lot of primary care services in a small community, McCallister said that should inspire the healthcare center to strive to continue to improve and provide the best quality of service and care to the public.
