Sheridan Media reporter Pat Blair looks back in time, over 100 years ago, to the impact of Spanish influenza as reported in the pages of the Sheridan Enterprise in 1918.

Lee John Saunners of Acme died there tonight, Dec. 9, from influenza. It was the first death in the county from influenza for a week.

Hayden M. White, editor and publisher of the Buffalo Voice, was in Sheridan today. He reports they have more influenza in the vicinity of Buffalo than they have had at any previous period.

Mrs. Ralph Denio has returned from Omaha, Neb., where she had an illness in the hospital with the prevailing flu for a couple of weeks.

Mr. Roy Powers and son, Mr. Victor Powers, motored to Sheridan from Quietus, Montana, yesterday on a quick business trip. They have both recovered from an attack of the flu epidemic.
