Deadline for Wyoming Wildlife magazine’s annual Photo Contest fast approaching

The Wyoming Game and Fish is reminding photographers they have only days left to enter the Wyoming Wildlife magazine’s annual Photo Contest. The deadline is 11:59 p.m., Monday, Nov. 17.

Photographers can submit up to 10 photographs across four categories. 

Wildlife includes wild mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, fish and arthropods. (Priority is given to species managed by the Wyoming Game and Fish Department.)

Scenic images in which landmarks, scenery or inanimate objects are prominent.

Recreation includes photos of people enjoying the outdoors through hunting, fishing, hiking, backpacking and other outdoor recreation activities.

Flora includes wildflowers, foliage, fruiting bodies or other parts of plants.

Winning entries will be published in the February 2026 photo issue of Wyoming Wildlife. The judging process begins Dec. 1, and winners will be notified by the end of December.
