Senator Barrasso: ‘Memorial Day is a Day of Remembrance, a Day of Respect’

The COVID-19 pandemic has certainly changed the way people go about their daily lives and the impact will no doubt be felt across the nation on this Memorial Day weekend. U.S. Senator John Barrasso of Wyoming said that the coronavirus has impacted every American.

Senator Barrasso said that while Memorial Day may be a bit different for Americans this year,  the meaning of the day remains unchanged.

Wyoming Governor Mark Gordon, pursuant to President Donald Trump’s Proclamation, has ordered both the U.S. and State of Wyoming flags be flown at half-staff statewide from sunrise through noon on Monday, in honor of Memorial Day and the President’s proclamation of a day of prayer for permanent peace.

    Let’s see how many cemeteries and VA facilities politicians visit this weekend.
