Rural Healthcare Approves Contract with Buffalo EMS
The Johnson County Rural Health Board, during their meeting Monday, voted to accept the contract with Buffalo EMS concerning ambulance services in the county.
Attorney for the district Barry Crago did have some concerns with the contract which he explained during the meeting.
Another concern brought up by Crago was the release of liability between the parties over litigation, which board member Jim Hicks talked about.
After discussions, the board voted to accept the contract pending attorneys for the parties agreeing to wording on liability insurance coverage and maintenance on the ambulances.
The release of liability will not be addressed by the attorneys.
The contract is expected to be signed as soon as the changes are drafted.
