Buffalo Council OKs Zoning Code Amendment on First Reading

An amendment to zoning code in the City of Buffalo has been approved on first reading by the Buffalo City Council.

The changes would remove the designation of R-1 from all properties annexed into the city, which is currently the code.

City Building Inspector Terry Asay gave details on the proposed change and why the city wants it.

Asay further explained that the change, once passed on three readings, will allow the city to annex a property in under the proper zoning designation.
