JCSD1 Board Extends Superintendent’s Contract

The Johnson County School Board, during their meeting for November, approved continuing the two-year rolling contract between the district and Superintendent Charles Auzqui.

The current contract is for 2024-25, and the continuing rolling contract will be in effect from 2025 until June 30, 2027.

Auzqui and the board discussed how the contract works.

Board member Jan Johnson added that she didn’t want the public to think the board had just approved the rolling contract without looking at all aspects of the superintendent’s performance in his position.
