Chief Gives Report on Police Department Happenings in September

Buffalo Police Chief Sean Bissett, in his report to the city council at their recent meeting, detailed a burglary incident that happened on September 20 and was later solved by the police department.

Bissett also reported there were 2,828 calls into the 9-1-1 center, with officers responding to 698 of the incidents.

There were 10 arrests made during September, with six DUI arrests.

Bissett said that number is too many and encouraged the public to drink responsibly and to not drive afterwards.
