Buffalo Council OKs Contract for Professional Services
The Buffalo City Council has approved a proposal for professional services for KL&A Engineers and Builders of Buffalo to perform design work on the North Main Street Storm Drain Project.
City Building Inspector Terry Asay explained that currently, storm water is deposited into the field east of North Main and south of Bloedorn Lumber, and the new storm drain system to be designed will collect storm water and send it into the city’s drain system.
According to discussions the cost of the professional design services will be roughly $70,000.
The council approved the proposal and will approve the contract for the services at a future meeting once it has been drawn up by City Attorney Ben Kirven.
