Aaron PalmerBuffalo’s City Council has approved the application for a Restaurant Liquor License for The Wild Rose Tearoom, LLC but there was some concern over the new laws that have been recently passed by the state legislature, which led to them voting to place a moratorium on new liquor licenses until they can discuss the matter with the Wyoming Liquor Division.
Councilman Wes Haskins explained his concern.
The council voted to approve the application for the Wild Rose Tearoom, and Haskins then made a second motion to place a moratorium on new liquor licenses until the council can discuss with the liquor division the changes to the laws and get an explanation as to what is and is not a restaurant and who can and cannot qualify under the new laws.
The council approved the second motion as well.
