Chernobyl in Russia…Fukushima in Japan…are both “ghost towns” because millions of residents had to be evacuated when things went very wrong (for their own specific reasons at either location) and millions lost their homes and livelihood for one basic reason both reactors were located next to highly populated areas…nuclear power…is the cleanest form of energy available however the best place for such a reactor in Wyoming would be in the least populated area in Wyoming so if something goes wrong with the nuclear power plant thousands of residents would not need to be evacuated and thousands of residents would not lose their homes due to a radiation leak… this type of reactor is safer because it’s smaller and compartmentalized and can be shut down more quickly…how does that old saying go?…hope for the best…plan for the worst
