State Swimming Preview / Cowboy Basketball Enters the AP top 25 Poll

BRONC SWIMMING / DIVING – The Bronc swimmers and divers will be in Gillette for the Wyoming state swimming and diving championships 4-A prelims start Friday afternoon.

Head coach Brent Moore says the Broncs 2nd place finish at the conference meet was a good start to their post season.

Over the last week and a half they’ve started the tapering process as a lead up to the state meet and Moore says it’s amazing how much the athletes have recovered and should be fast this weekend.

This year’s state meet looks to be a great battle for the top four spots and Moore thinks the Broncs will be right in the mix.

BRONC / LADY BRONC HOOPS – The Sheridan high school basketball teams are home with Campbell county Friday night and play at Thunder Basin Saturday afternoon we will have all four games live for you on 14-10 KWYO and 106.9 FM.

BH HOOPS – The Big Horn basketball teams will close out the regular season with road games at Wright Friday.

TR HOOPS – The Tongue River basketball teams close out the regular season with road games Saturday at Moorcroft

AC HOOPS – The Arvada / Clearmont teams are home vs Kaycee Friday and on the road at Midwest Saturday.

COWBOY HOOPS – The Wyoming Cowboys finally got some respect the 21-3 Pokes enter the AP top 25 today ranked number 22 it’s the first top 25 ranking for the Cowboys since 2015.

They play at New Mexico tonight broadcast time is 6:30 with the tip at 7:00 on KWYO and 106.9 FM.

COWGIRL HOOPS – The Cowgirls played won at San Jose state last night, they drilled the Spartans 84-64 up next is a road game at CSU Thursday night.

WRESTLING – The Bronc wrestlers host their regional tournament Saturday.

TRACK – The Sheridan high school indoor track teams will compete at a meet at Natrona county Friday.

JUNIOR HOCKEY – The Sheridan Junior Hawks were off over the weekend they play road games this week in Bozeman, Montana.
