Sheridan, Big Horn and Tongue River competed at the Campbell County Invitational at Gillette.
The Sheridan girls 1600 meter spring medley relay team finished first with a time of 4 minutes 33.57 seconds, winning by 0.41 seconds. (Megan Hodges, Taylor Bower, Maggie Turpin, and Abby Newton).
Dulce Carroll finished first in the girls high jump at 5 feet 2 inches. Preslee Moser was 2nd at 5 feet 0 inches.
Ellen Brown was 3rd in the girls long jump with a distance of 16 feet 1.75 inches.
Preslee Moser (32 feet 11 inches), Megan Hodges (32 feet 8.75 inches), Brynn Burton (31 feet 9.25 inches) and Kadence Legerski (31 feet 6 inches), placed 2nd, 3rd, 5th and 7th respectively in the girls triple jump.
Hanah Sullivan (36 feet 0 inches), Josie Ankney (35 feet 9 inches) and Nora Butler (35 feet 6.5 inches), placed 4th, 5th and 6th in the girls shot put.
Carter McComb was 2nd in the boys 55 meter dash with a time of 6.64 seconds, missing 1st by 0.04 seconds.
Carl Askins (24.20 seconds) and Patrick Aasby (24.39 seconds) placed 3rd and 5th respectively in the boys 200 meter run).
Patrick Aasby (53.42 seconds) and Aiden Roth (54.31 seconds) placed 1st and 3rd respectively in the boys 400 meter run.
Austin Akers (2 minutes 5.06 seconds), Robby Miller (2 minutes 19.27 seconds) and Landrum Wiley (2 minutes 20.34 seconds) placed 1st, 6th and 10th in the boys 800 meter run.
Austin Akers (4 minutes 39.64 seconds), Robby Miller (5 minutes 3.21 seconds), Marcus Hale (5 minutes 9.76 seconds), Landrum Wiley (5 minutes 15.82 seconds) and Matthew Osborne (5 minutes 18.75 seconds) placed 1st, 4th, 6th, 7th and 9th respectively in the boys 1600 meter run.
Sage Gradinaru was 2nd in the boys 3200 meter run with a time of 10 minutes 44.43 seconds.
Conner McKinney was 6th in the boys 55 meter hurdles with a time of 8.72 seconds.
Sheridan was 1st in the boys 4 by 400 meter relay with a time of 3 minutes 44.16 seconds. (Sam Bisso, Trent Foster, Dominick Berretini, Cameron Perez).
Aiden Roth and Conner McKinney tied for 3rd in the boys high jump with a jump of 5 feet 6 inches.
Ryan Karajanis (14 feet 0 inches) and Gaige Tarver (13 feet 6 inches) were 1st and 2nd respectively in the boys pole vault.
Aiden O’Leary placed 6th in the triple jump with a jump of 36 feet 3 1/2 inches.
Texas Tanner was 2nd in the boys shot put with a throw of 55 feet 8 inches.
The next scheduled meet for Sheridan is Thursday, January 27th at the Thunder Basin dual at Gillette, while Big Horn and Tongue River have the week off from competition.
