Cowgirls win at SDSU / Cowboys Open MWC Play Saturday

COWGIRL HOOPS – The Wyoming Cowgirls picked up their first victory on the road at San Diego state yesterday winning 62-54.

They play at UNLV Friday they open the new year Monday at home with Boise state.

Cowboys Head coach Jeff Linder says the Cowboys record indicates how they’ve improved defensively.

And Linder says two years into his time as the Pokes the head coach team building is a big factor into their current success.

And finally today they’ve been able to avoid COVID issues so far and hopes that continues as several programs around the country have canceled many games.
