Weekend Local Sports Wrap up

BRONC / LADY BRONC HOOPS – The Bronc and Lady Bronc basketball teams went 6-0 in Fremont county over the weekend to open the basketball season with victories over Lander, Riverton and Star Valley.

They play Buffalo Thursday night the Lady Broncs will play in Buffalo the Broncs will host the Bison varsity tip off is set for 7:00 we will have it live on KWYO and 106.9 FM.

BRONC WRESTLING – The Bronc wrestlers were 7th at the Rapid City invitational with six finishing in the top five led by Dane Steel with a championship finish.

The Broncs will compete at a tournament in Gillette this weekend.

TR / BH / AC HOOPS – The Tongue River Lady Eagles and Big Horn Lady Rams went 0-3 at their season opening tournament in Lovell.

The Rams were 1-2 with a victory over Pinedale, the Eagles went 1-2 as well with their win coming against Lovell

The A/C Panthers and Lady Panthers played three games in Upton the boys went 0-3 the Lady Panthers went 1-2 with a win over Upton.

COWBOY HOOPS – The Wyoming Cowboy basketball team beat Utah Valley Saturday, Head coach Jeff Linder says it was a good win for the 9-1 Pokes after getting rocked at Arizona two days earlier.

The Cowboys have a nice break until their next game at Stanford December 22nd.

JUNIOR HAWKS – The Sheridan Junior Hawks dropped both games with the Badlands Sabres 5-2 and 5-4, this weekend they play home and home with Gillette.
