Lady Bronc Swimmers and Divers Open Season Monday / Rockies get a Walk off win over SD / Broncos at Seattle Saturday

SWIMMING / DIVING – The Lady Bronc swimmers and divers had their season opening practice yesterday, before they hit the water we talked with Head coach Brent Moore says they are expecting a good mix of returning team members and freshmen and he talked about what happens on the first day.

They have their first meet next Friday and Moore talked about the focus of week number one.

As far as team expectations for the first meet only time will tell until they hit the water in Laramie a week from Friday.

GOLF – The Bronc and Lady Bronc golfers host the Sheridan invitational at Kendrick golf course this week Wednesday and Thursday

VOLLEYBALL – The Lady Bronc volleyball team opens the season at a tournament in Riverton next weekend.

X-COUNTRY – The Bronc and Lady Bronc cross country teams open their season at an invitational in Casper next week.

TENNIS – The Bronc and Lady Bronc tennis teams host matches with Jackson Thursday and at home Friday with the Casper schools before road matches at the Gillette schools Saturday.

BRONCO FOOTBALL – The Denver Broncos play their next exhibition game at Seattle Saturday night kickoff is set for 8:00 pm.

ROCKIES BASEBALL – C.J. Cron hit a solo homer in the ninth inning to give the Rockies a 6-5 win over the San Diego Padres. Game two of the series tonight 6:40 on Smart Talk 106.3 FM.
