Bronc / Lady Bronc Golfers Tee it up Tomorrow / SHS Tennis Starts Their new Season Saturday / Rockies Drop the Opener of a Series at Houston

FALL HIGH SCHOOL SPORTS – The fall sports season starts tomorrow as the Sheridan high school golfers tee it up at an event in Gillette.
The Bronc and Lady Bronc tennis teams play at a jamboree in Casper Saturday.
The rest of the Bronc and Lady Bronc teams start on the 27th with the Bronc football team at Laramie.
The Bronc and Lady Bronc cross country teams will run in Casper, the Lady Bronc swimmers and divers open in Laramie and the Lady Bronc volleyball team opens at a tournament in Riverton.
WYOMING COWBOY FOOTBALL – The Wyoming football Cowboys open the new season at home September 4th against Montana state the game is set to kickoff at 2:00.
Cowboy Head coach Craig Bohl says the QB competition has been very good.
ROCKIES BASEBALL – Jake Odorizzi and four relievers combined on a five-hit shutout, Taylor Jones had a two-run double and the Houston Astros beat the Colorado Rockies 5-0. Houston scored three runs in the fourth inning off Colorado starter Jon Gray.
BRONCO FOOTBALL – Denver coach Vic Fangio has chosen Drew Lock to start the Broncos’ preseason opener this weekend at Minnesota. Fangio says Lock gets the nod because he’s the incumbent quarterback. He’s in a training camp competition with veteran Teddy Bridgewater. there’s been little separation between the two so far at training camp.
