Broncs Wrap up Mini Camp / Troopers Sweep the Billings Scarlets / Rockies Knock off Seattle

BRONC FOOTBALL – The Sheridan Bronc football team wrapped up mini camp Wednesday Head coach Jeff Mowry says off season workouts have gone very well.

And time is running out as fall two a day practices start in less than three weeks.

TROOPER BASEBALL – The Sheridan Troopers swept a road double header at the Billings Scarlets Wednesday they shut the Scarlets out 5-0 on the first game and whipped them 17-7 in the second game.

The Troops will host a return double header with the Scarlets tomorrow the first game will start at 3:00 that will close out the regular season.

The Wyoming state Double “AA” tournament starts on the 26th in Laramie.

ROCKIES BASEBALL – Austin Gomber pitched effectively for six innings in his return from the injured list, Dom Nunez hit a three-run double in a five-run first inning and the Colorado Rockies beat the Seattle mariners 6-3.

The Rox are off today and open a home series with the Dodgers tomorrow night, you can hear Rockies baseball on Smart Talk 106.3 FM.
