SHS SPORTS / ACTIVITIES – The high school sports year closes out this weekend with state track and soccer we sat down with Sheridan high school Activities Director Don Julian to take a look back and the pandemic and a year of activities.
Julian says he is very happy that the Bronc track team will finally get a chance to make a run at that state championship they’ve been chasing the last few seasons.
Also a source of pride for the school is that for the first time in many seasons both soccer teams have advanced to the state tournament together.
TRACK – The all-class state track and field championships get underway tomorrow at Kelly Walsh high school in Casper.
SOCCER – The Bronc and Lady Bronc soccer teams open the state championships tomorrow in Cheyenne the Lady Broncs take on Kelly Walsh the Broncs open with Evanston.
TROOPER BASEBALL – The Sheridan Troopers have two games this weekend they will host a double header Sunday with the Billings Scarlets the first game will start at 1:00.
ROCKIES BASEBALL – The Colorado Rockies lost 2-1 at San Diego Tuesday night they close out the series this afternoon at 2:00.
The Rockies are off tomorrow and open a home series with Arizona Friday night, first pitch is at 6:40 you can hear Rockies baseball live on Smart Talk 106.3 FM.
