TRACK / FIELD – Sheridan high school has rescheduled the annual Gary Benson track meet to tomorrow afternoon the event was set for today but the weather has forced the postponement.
The Broncs and Lady Broncs are also scheduled to compete at a big invitational at Thunder Basin over in Gillette Saturday.
SOCCER – The Bronc and Lady Bronc soccer teams are off from league play this week. They return to action next week with huge conference games the Lady Broncs will host Cheyenne East and Central while the Broncs will play on the road.
GOLF – The Bronc and Lady Bronc golfers are set to try it again this week after having the Buffalo invite snowed out they will play in Powell Friday and they will play at the rescheduled Buffalo event Monday.
TENNIS – The Bronc and Lady Bronc spring tennis season continues they are set to host Hardin, Montana Friday and play multiple matches in Casper Saturday.
WYOMING FOOTBALL – The Wyoming football Cowboys continue spring practice the annual spring game is set for May 8th in his weekly media conference Head coach Craig Bohl says the QB’s are looking good and a former Sheridan Bronc has shown up on the offensive radar.
And Bohl also said COVID issues continue for all college programs and so far the Pokes have been able to stay clean.
Also a topic brought up by Bohl was the new transfer rules as players can now leave a school and go right to another team and play right away.
TROOPER BASEBALL – The Sheridan Troopers will play their season opener on Rottelini Field at Thorne-Rider stadium Saturday afternoon against Post 6 from Cheyenne the double header will start at 1:00.
ROCKIES BASEBALL – The Colorado Rockies host the Astros tonight you can hear the game on Smart Talk 106.3 FM first pitch is set for 6:40.
