AMERICAN LEGION BASEBALL – The Sheridan Troopers and Jets will officially open spring practice today the Troopers are coming off a season in which they finished 3rd at the state tournament

Head coach Ben Phillips says along with a solid core of returning players he has been able to get a good look at some of their younger players and expects them to do very well for the troopers this year.

JUNIOR HOCKEY – The Sheridan Junior Hawks lost the second game of the season then ran the table winning 39 in a row the last two coming over the weekend against the Helena Bighorns the Hawks won by scores of 3-1 and 4-1.

They open the playoffs Friday against Missoula, Montana.

SOCCER – The Lady Bronc soccer team played Laramie to a scoreless draw Friday and came back Saturday for a 2-0 win over Cheyenne South.

The Broncs had a nice road trip picking up two victories beating Laramie 2-1 and shutting out South 6-0.

TRACK AND FIELD – The Bronc and Lady Bronc track competed at an invitational in Cody the Broncs were first the Lady Broncs were 2nd.

The Tongue River track teams both came out on top at an invitational in Greybull.
