SPRING SPORTS – The spring high school sports season starts today the Bronc and Lady Bronc track teams open the outdoor season in Buffalo the Bronc and Lady Bronc soccer teams open at home hosting Buffalo.
Sheridan high school Activities Director Don Julian says even though the mask mandate was lifted this week face coverings will still be required to attend school events.
They will use both fields at the high school for the soccer today the JV games will start at 3:00 the varsity will go at 5:00.
COWGIRL BASKETBALL – The Wyoming Cowgirls open the women’s NCAA tournament Monday night against UCLA the game will tip at 8:00 and we will have it live on KWYO and 106.9 FM.
JUNIOR HAWKS – The Sheridan Junior Hawks are 35-1 and have wrapped up the division and regular season league titles with four games to play they play at Gillette tonight and tomorrow.
Head coach Andy Schieb says they had a great first season last year and in year number two it’s been even better.
And he says the Hawks have generated a pretty good buzz around the country in the NA3HL league.
And with restrictions lifted the fans came out in droves to watch the hawks win two games against Missoula.
They will close out the regular season at home next week and get ready for the playoffs.
