JUNIOR HOCKEY – The Sheridan Junior Hawks winning streak is now at 30 in a row they host Yellowstone this weekend at the M&M center Head coach Andy Schieb says 30 in a row is almost unheard of in the sport of hockey.
And he says it hasn’t been easy with several close calls during the streak.
Friday and Saturday they host the Yellowstone Quake from Cody and their focus right now is to keep doing what they’ve doing over the last several weeks.
They drop the puck Friday and Saturday night at 7:30.
RAMS BASKETBALL – The Big Horn Rams open the 2A state basketball tournament Friday taking on Big Piney at Casper college at noon.
BRONC / LADY BRONC BASKETBALL – The Sheridan Bronc and Lady Bronc basketball teams open their regional tournament Thursday in Gillette all games are single elimination the broncs open against Casper Kelly Walsh the game will be played at Thunder Basin high school.
The game will tip off at 2:30 we will have it live on 14-10 KWYO and 106.9 FM. The other boys game has Thunder Basin playing Campbell county the two winners will play again at 7:30 Thursday night if the Broncs advance to the late game Thursday night it will be broadcast on News / Talk 930 KROE.
All the girls games are being played at Campbell county high school the Lady Broncs play Campbell county at 4:00 the other girls game has Thunder Basin playing Kelly Walsh.
COWBOY BASKETBALL – The Wyoming Cowboys play Thursday night at 7:30 at Utah state then host UNLV Saturday night at 9:00 both games will be broadcast live on KWYO and 106.9 FM.
