Junior Hawks Host Gillette on the Weekend

The Sheridan Junior Hawks hockey team gets back on the ice at Cody Thursday night then come home for two against the Gillette Wild Friday night’s game will start at 7:30 they will go again Saturday night also at 7:30.

Head coach Andy Schieb put the players through a conditioning workout Monday at the M&M Center and he says it got the players back into hockey mode and the players did a great job of fighting through a tough day.

The Hawks only have one loss on the season and Scheib says now is the time to really ramp up the pressure on the rest of the Frontier division.

The Sheridan high school basketball teams will open on Thursday next week with games against Buffalo then host back to back home games with Billings Central high school and Laurel, Montana.

The Big Horn basketball teams open next Friday and Saturday with games against Shoshoni and Southeast.

The Tongue River teams open the new year with Upton and Riverside.

The Wyoming basketball Cowboys open MWC play on the road at Fresno state Saturday the game will tip off at 5:00 and you can hear it live on 14-10 KWYO and 106.9 FM. They will also play another game with Fresno Monday.

The Wyoming Cowgirls have the same schedule but they are hosting Fresno state Saturday and Monday.
