Broncs and Lady Broncs Sweep Basketball Openers They Host Riverton Saturday

BRONC / LADY BRONC BASKETBALL – The Sheridan high school basketball teams opened the season Thursday night sweeping games against Evanston the Lady Broncs got 18 points from Sam Speilman and the Lady Broncs picked up a nice 53-47 victory.

In the boys game the Broncs led the entire game pulling away in the second half for a 68-36 victory every player scored with Sam Lecholat leading the way with 12 points. Head coach Jeff Martini was very happy with the Broncs defensive effort.

Several of their returning underclassmen will play big roles for the team this year and Martini says all of them performed very well.

Both teams host Riverton Saturday games are at 1:30 and 3:00 and will be broadcast on News / Talk 930 KROE.

BH BASKETBALL – The Big Horn Rams and Lady Rams open the season today with road games at Lovell.

TR BASKETBALL – The Tongue River Eagles and Lady Eagles open with Kaycee today.

BRONC SWIMMING / DIVING – The Bronc swimmers and divers begin their season in Gillette today

BRONC WRESTLING – The Bronc wrestlers will open with multiple dual matches in Cody and Powell today and tomorrow.

COWBOY BASKETBALL – The Wyoming basketball Cowboys play at Utah valley tomorrow afternoon at 2:00 you can hear the game on Fox Sports 87.7 FM.

COWBOY FOOTBALL – The Wyoming football Cowboys end their season Saturday at home with Boise state the game will kickoff at 4:00 on KWYO and 106.9 FM.

BRONCO FOOTBALL – The Denver Broncos play at Carolina Sunday kickoff is at 11:00 on KWYO and 106.9 FM.
