TROOPERS BASEBALL – The Sheridan Troopers are 22-11 after sweeping Tuesday night’s double header with Casper, the Troopers led 2-1 in the first game when lightning and rain chased the players from the field.

When play resumed the Troopers opened up on the Oilers winning the first game 14-4 the second game was more competitive but the Troops came out on top with a 4-0 shutout.

The Troopers will have played nine games in six days and get a much-needed rest today then get back out there tomorrow and Head coach Ben Phillips has had to manage a tired ball club for the last week and a half.

Over the last few weeks the Troopers have lost Quinn McCafferty and Jacob Boint for the season with arm injuries and Phillips says they are trying to deal with that as best they can.

The Troops are back on the home field tomorrow night hosting two games with Cody the first game will start at 4:00.
