Sheridan HS Soccer: With the Easter Holiday approaching the Sheridan boys and girls soccer teams are scheduled to play their games this week a little bit sooner than normal.

Today, the Broncs host Thunder Basin, while the Lady Broncs are on the road.

On Thursday, Sheridan plays Campbell County, and it will be the girls playing the home game, while the boys will get on the bus.

This past weekend, the Broncs won at home vs. Cheyenne East and then played a scoreless sister-kisser vs. Cheyenne Central.

Head Coach Wade Kinsey says that’s soccer sometimes.

As for the Lady Broncs, they also won against Cheyenne East and tied Cheyenne Central this past weekend.

Head Coach Josh Dube says he gives the girls credit because they’re still undefeated despite not being at 100%.

Today’s games for both the boys and girls start at 6pm.

University of Wyoming Spring Football: The Wyoming Cowboys held their first spring scrimmage this past weekend.

The team is now past the halfway point of the spring season.

After the scrimmage Head Coach Jay Sawvel shared his thoughts on what he saw from the team and what still needs to be done.

The Pokes have 2 more weeks of spring practice.

The Brown and Gold game is one week from this coming Saturday.


Colorado Rockies Baseball: The Colorado Rockies managed to score some runs last night, despite losing at the LA Dodgers 5-3.

Hunter Goodman hit a 2 run home run in the 7th for the cause.

Kyle Farmer’s RBI double in the 6th provided the first run for Colorado since last week Thursday, and the bad news is, between then and yesterday, the team went 32 consecutive innings without scoring a run, which is a new franchise record.

The old record was 30 set back in 2010.

The Rocks and Dodgers play again today starting at 8:10pm.


NBA Playoffs: Tonight starts the playoff play-in games.

In the East it’s Atlanta at Orlando.

The winner will advance to take on Boston in the first round.

The loser will play again Friday at home in a do or die game against the winner of tomorrow’s game between Miami at Chicago.

In the West, tonight it’s Memphis at Golden State.

The winner will advance to take on Houston in the first round.

The loser will play again Friday at home in a do or die game against the winner of tomorrow’s game between Dallas at Sacramento.

As for the Denver Nuggets, they will take on the LA Clippers in the first round, and will host Games 1 and 2 of their best-of-7 series.

Game 1 is Saturday in Denver, starting at 1:30pm.
