Sheridan HS Basketball: In their first games of 2025, the Sheridan High School boys and girls basketball teams were victorious in their first game at the Cheyenne Invitational.
The Broncs defeated 3A Wheatland 62-18, while the girls won 43-33.
Both teams play today against Riverton.
Those games will be played at Cheyenne East starting at 3pm.
Tomorrow Sheridan plays Rock Springs.
Those games start at 9am and will be played at Cheyenne South.

Tongue River/Big Horn/Arvada-Clearmont HS Basketball: Tongue River and Big Horn will play 2 today and 2 tomorrow.
The boys and girls teams from both schools will take on Pine Bluffs, Shoshoni, Thermopolis and 3A Burns.
The TR boys will play all of their games at Sundance, while the BH boys will be at Wright.
Both girls teams will play today at Thermopolis, and play at Shoshoni tomorrow.
As for Arvada-Clearmont, they will start 1A Northeast quadrant play tomorrow at Casper Christian, beginning at 10am.
Sheridan County HS Wrestling: Both the Sheridan boys and girls as well as the Tongue River boys and girls, will compete at the Shane Shatto Invitational in Douglas today and tomorrow.
For the Sheridan boys and both TR teams, this is their first competition back from the winter break.
Sheridan HS Boys Swimming and Diving: Sheridan will host their pre-invite today at the Sheridan Junior High School Swimming Pool starting at 4pm.
Tomorrow it’s the Sheridan Invitational starting at 9am.
Sheridan HS Nordic Skiing: Sheridan will host their first ever meet today and tomorrow at Cutler Hill.
Races start today at 1pm and tomorrow at 10am.
Traffic in that area is asked to be cautious.
Sheridan Hawks Junior Hockey: The Sheridan Hawks host Gillette for a 2-game series today and tomorrow.
The puck drops at 7:30pm for both games.
Sheridan Hawks Amateur Hockey: The Sheridan Lady Hawks play a pair of home games this weekend.
The team hosts Cody tomorrow starting at 4:15pm and on Sunday at 9am.

As for the Sheridan Hawks boys team, they don’t return to action for another 3 weeks.
University of Wyoming Basketball: The Wyoming Cowgirls return to their home confines in Laramie for another conference game.
The team hosts San Diego State tomorrow at 2pm.
As for the Wyoming Cowboys, they have this weekend off from competition, and next play on Tuesday at Boise State.
Denver Broncos Football: It’s playoff time for the Denver Broncos.
The team plays their wild card round game at Buffalo this Sunday starting at 11am.

Colorado Avalanche Hockey: The Colorado Avalanche won last night at Minnesota 6-1.
The Avs next play tomorrow at Winnipeg.
