Big Horn HS Football: Not including their forfeit win vs. Moorcroft, the Big Horn High School Football team easily cruised through the 2A East conference, beating teams by an average score of 51-7.

Rams Head Coach Kirk McLaughlin says BH had 2 reasons not to get a big head while they were beating up the East teams.
The players knew the west was waiting and there was some unfinished business after settling for the state runner-up trophy last year.

Avery McMullen of Sheridan HS To Play Soccer At CSU-Pueblo: The season doesn’t start until March, but one Sheridan High School senior already has her college plans set.
Avery McMullen has signed a written offer of athletic aid (formerly known as a National Letter of Intent) to play at Colorado State University Pueblo.
She says she had been considering Montana State Billings, as well as a number of Junior Colleges in Wyoming and Colorado.
McMullen explains what she thinks the Lady ThunderWolves saw in her, and why she made her choice.
She adds she is considering majoring in biology, with a minor in political science.
Signings are now referred to as offers of athletic aid instead of National Letters of Intent.
Last month, the NCAA eliminated the National Letter of Intent Program, which is what it had been called for the past 60 years.
University Of Wyoming Football: The Wyoming Cowboys took the Bronze Boot with them to Fort Collins this past Friday, and ended up leaving it there, as the Pokes lost 24-10.
The Brown and Gold did not play well on both sides of the ball as the Rams outgained them 446-237.
UW Head Coach Jay Sawvel says in terms of defense, some players overdid it, and didn’t stick to the task at hand.

Kickoff in Laramie is scheduled for 5pm.
Colorado Avalanche Hockey: The Colorado Avalanche won last night at Philadelphia 3-2.
The Avs next play Thursday at Washington.
