Sheridan Girls Basketball Team Runs Over Rock Springs In First Round Of 2024 4A State Tournament

The Sheridan Lady Broncs scored the first 11 points of the game, and cruised to 59-44 win vs. Rock Springs in the first round of the 4A Girls Basketball State Tournament at Casper College.

Mesa Hanft led all scorers with 19 points, Adeline Burgess added 15 (5 3’s to increase her season total to 71), and Alli Ligocki contributed with 14.

Sheridan was up 42-17 early in the 3rd quarter for their biggest lead of the game and then let the Lady Tigers off the hook.

The Lady Broncs advance to the semi-finals on Friday at 4:30pm at the Ford Wyoming Center, vs. Cody.
