It’s the athletes that win the games, events, and championships, but the coaches have something to do with it.
Sheridan High School Coaches Jeff Mowry (4A Football) and Joseph Quinn (4A Girls Golf) were named Coaches of the Year for the Fall 2023 sports season by the Wyoming Coaches Association.
Mowry helped lead the Broncs to their 3rd straight state title and 7th in the last 9 years, and extended the teams’ winning streak to 31, which is the 2nd longest in state history.
Quinn helped lead the Lady Broncs to their 2nd title in the last 3 years.
In addition, Julie Kane was named Assistant Coach of the Year in Golf and Henry Glackin of Buffalo was named Assistant Coach of the Year in Football.
