STATE WRESTLING – The girls all class Wyoming state wrestling championships get underway tomorrow in Casper, the boys state tournament will start Friday morning.
NORDIC SKIING – The Wyoming state Nordic ski championships will start Friday in Jackson
BRONC / LADY BRONC BASKETBALL – The Sheridan high school basketball teams close out the regular season Friday with road games at Natrona county.
REGIONAL BASKETBALL TOURNAMENTS – The Tongue River and Big Horn basketball teams open regional tournament play tomorrow at Sundance high school.
In the girls bracket Big Horn opens with Lingle-Fort Laramie and the Tongue River Lady Eagles take on Burns, in the boys bracket the Rams play Niobrara county and the Eagles face Burns.
The Big Horn Rams, last year’s 2A state runners-up are 17-2 on the season and have won seven in row, since their loss at tongue river in middle January.
Head coach Cody Ball says this year’s team is loaded with experience at both playing the game, and winning as well.
The Rams tip off at 7pm tomorrow against Lusk after that, their next opponent will be either Wright or Lingle-Ft. Laramie, which are two teams the Rams during the regular season.
The Arvada / Clearmont Lady Panthers open their regional in Buffalo tomorrow against Rock River.
JUNIOR HOCKEY – The Sheridan Junior Hawks host two games this weekend with the Yellowstone Quake game times are 7:30 Friday and Saturday night.
COWBOY BASKETBALL – The Wyoming basketball Cowboys lost Utah state Tuesday night 65-55 they will play Friday night at Colorado state.
