Sheridan HS Basketball: The Sheridan Bronc and Lady Bronc basketball teams are back on the court for 2 games this weekend and now they’re in that part of the schedule where the games really matter, because it’s the start of 4A Northeast Quadrant play.

On Friday, they are home against Campbell County.

The girls tip off at around 5:30pm and the boys at around 7.

Both of those games will be broadcasted live on AM 1410 KWYO and 106.9 FM.

They will also be live video streamed, and you can watch that stream at sheridanmedia.com.

On Saturday, both teams are at Thunder Basin.

The girls game is scheduled to start at around 3:30pm and the boys at around 5pm.

The Thunder Basin boys are the defending 4A State Champs.

Tongue River HS Basketball: Tongue River will play on the other side of the Big Horn Mountains as they visit Riverside on Friday, and then return home Saturday for 2A Northeast Quadrant play against Wright.

The TR boys are currently 9-1 on the season and have won 8 straight.

Senior Al Spotted says the team got an early season reality check when they lost at Wind River 1 month ago.

Unfortunately, the Cowgirls only scored 8 points in the 2nd quarter and 9 in the 3rd quarter, which ended up making the difference as UNLV would win 71-57.

UW falls to 12-6 on the season, with a 5-2 mark in the conference.

They are back in action on Saturday at home against San Diego State.

On Saturday it’s a home double-header in Laramie, as the Cowboys will play in the Border War against Colorado State at 2pm, and then the Cowgirls are scheduled to tip off their game at 6.

Sheridan Hawks Junior League Hockey: The Sheridan Hawks play Friday and Saturday at Rapid City, South Dakota.

Their next home game isn’t until February 10th.
