Sheridan County High School Volleyball Recap: September 16-17, 2022

The Sheridan County teams are starting to get more into the conference portion of their respective schedules.

Sheridan: The Lady Broncs resumed 4A East Conference play by losing to both Gillette teams.

On Friday they lost at Thunder Basin 3-0 (25-9, 25-9, 25-15), and then on Saturday, they lost home vs. Campbell County 3-1 (20-25, 25-17, 25-14, 25-14).

SHS is 5-11 on the 2022 season with an 0-3 record in the 4A East.

The next scheduled games are on Friday and Saturday, September 23rd and 24th at the Casper Invitational.

Big Horn: The Lady Rams went 2-0 on the weekend.

On Friday, BH started 2A Northeast quadrant with a win at home vs. Wright 3-0 (25-15, 25-14, 25-22).

Then on Saturday, Big Horn won at 3A Thermopolis 3-0 (25-13, 25-17, 25-10).

The Lady Rams are 17-3 on the season, with a 1-0 record in the 2A Northeast.

The next scheduled games are on Thursday, September 22nd at Tongue River, and then Friday and Saturday, September 23rd and 24th at the Casper Invitational.

Tongue River: The Lady Eagles lost their only game of the week on Saturday at 1A Burlington 3-0 (25-20, 25-15, 25-23)

TR is now 10-6-2 on the season.

The next scheduled games are on Thursday, September 22nd at home vs. Big Horn, and then Friday, September 23rd at home vs. Sundance.

Saturday’s home game vs. Lovell has been postponed to Monday, September 26th.

Arvada-Clearmont: The Lady Panthers played 1A Northeast conference opponents this weekend.

On Friday, A-C lost at Kaycee 3-0 (25-11, 25-10,2 25-9) and then on Saturday, they lost at home vs. Hulett 3-0 (25-10, 25-17, 25-9).

Arvada-Clearmont is 1-5 on the season, with a 1-3 record in the 1A Northeast.

The next scheduled games are on Saturday, September 24th at home vs. Rock River and Ten Sleep.
