David Handley was born on October 28, 1963, in Columbus, Ohio. He moved to Sheridan, Wyoming, in 1978, where he met his wife Myong Kim and enlisted in the military. David and Myong had two children, Sue Bothel and Ashley Handley. David loved his family and friends and was an exemplary role model. His desire to be a grandpa flourished his special relationship with his great niece, Ara Lindblom. He was the best father with the biggest, quietest smile. David’s calm demeanor attracted many friends; he was someone people enjoyed being around. His hard work and “go getter” attitude always kept him busy, working as a craftsman. David loved the outdoors, especially the Big Horn Mountains, fishing and camping. He loved riding his motorcycle, traveling across the country and the yearly trips to Sturgis Rally. David’s carefree and easy-going attitude was full of life. He is survived by his wife Myong Handley, daughters Sue Bothel and Ashley Handley, mother Jo Ann Shaffer, brothers Michael Shaffer and Jerry Handley, mother in law Keum Soon Kim, two son-in laws Benjamin Stroud and Paul Bothel as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews

Dave was a great guy, a few years back I worked for him at Walmart, he was great. Always had a smile, and sometimes told a joke. His wife and daughters are GREAT PEOPLE for sure.
