Carol Van Buskirk

Carol Agnes Van Buskirk, 79, of Sheridan, Wyoming passed away Thursday, April 10, 2025, at Thermopolis Rehabilitation and Wellness Center.

Carol was born September 15, 1945, in Casper, Wyoming to Samuel and Ethel (Hoffman) Underwood.

She grew up in Natrona and attended school in Casper, where she met her husband Wesly Curtis and was a homemaker. She was a baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witness’s in 1972. She enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, crossword puzzles, gardening and her chickens.

Carol is survived by her children: Wesley Eugene Van Buskirk, Casey Randall Van Buskirk (Lynnette), Tammy Lynette Spencer (Richard), Robert Leo Van Buskirk and Jennifer Rebecca. Her grandchildren: Chelsey, Jeremy, Merijah, Leo, Brandon, Nathanial and Akaya. Her great-grand children: Jasmine, Jillian, Xander, Robert, Oden, Lyla and Magnolia. Her siblings: Lynne Taylor and Jim Underwood, along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-six years. Her parents, Samuel and Ethel Underwood. Her siblings: Norma Hauser, Edith Lowery, Evelyn Franklin, Doris Caves, Glen, Elmer, Sam and Don Underwood.

Funeral services will be held on May 3, 2025, at 1 p.m. located at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness’s, 686 Fort St., Buffalo, Wyoming.
