Private family graveside for Cindy “Evans” Stellpflug 66-year-old Buffalo resident who passed away Tuesday, July 18th at the Shepherd of the Valley Nursing Home in Casper, Wyoming will be held by her family at a later date. Cindy Denise “Evans” Stellpflug was born on May 15, 1957, in Fort Dix, New Jersey to James and Marva Evans. She moved with her family to California as a young child. She grew up and went to school in La Mirada, California, and graduated from Neff High School in La Mirada with the class of 1975. After high school, she joined the U.S. Air Force and served in Germany. She later joined the Army and served Stateside. Following an honorable discharge she lived in Montana and later moved to the Veteran’s Home of Wyoming. She had been at the Shepherd of the Valley Nursing facility for the past year and a half. She is survived by one sister Cheryl Ready and her husband David Deckard of Yorba Linda, California; one brother Roger Evans and his wife Dorothy of Hoschton, Georgia; six nieces and nephews, Troy and his wife Anna, Jim Evans, Elsie Evans, and Elijah and Alana Ready. She was preceded in death by her father.
