High School Sports Restart / Cowboy Hoops at Fresno Saturday / Junior Hawks Take on Gillette This Weekend

COWBOY BASKETBALL – The Wyoming basketball Cowboys play at Fresno state Saturday n pregame at 4:30 with the tip at 5:00 on KWYO and 106.9 FM.

The Cowboys have lost two conference games already because of their opponents dealing with COVID and they hope to be playing at Fresno Saturday, Head coach Jeff Linder talks about the Pokes 11-2 start and why they got off to such a good start to the season.

And Linder went on to to say it’s been a lot of fun working with this group of players.

BRONC / LADY BRONC BASKETBALL – The Bronc and Lady Bronc basketball teams play three games in Cheyenne starting Thursday they play Douglas, Rock Springs and Natrona county.

RAMS / EAGLES BASKETBALL – The Big Horn and Tongue River teams all play at a tournament Friday and Saturday hosted by Moorcroft and Sundance.

WRESTLING – The Bronc wrestlers open the two day Shane Shatto invitational in Douglas Friday.

SWIMMING / DIVING – The Bronc swimmers and divers will host a pre invitational meet Friday at 4:00 and the Sheridan invitational Saturday with events starting at 10 am.

INDOOR TRACK – The indoor track season is underway with practice starting this week the first meet for the Broncs and Lady Broncs will be on January 15th in Gillette.

JUNIOR HOCKEY – The Sheridan Hawks are home and home with Gillette this week, they play in Gillette Friday and home Saturday night they drop the puck at 7:30.

BRONCO FOOTBALL – The Denver Broncos will play out the season this week at home Saturday against Kansas City pregame at noon with kickoff at will kick off at 2:30 on KWYO and 106.9 FM.
