Troopers Sweep two From Laramie / Rockies fall at Home Against Seattle

TROOPER BASEBALL – The Sheridan Troopers had a great night at home sweeping a double header from Laramie it was pitching in the first game and big bats in the second game.

Hunter Stone was lights out in the first game pitching the Troopers to a 4-0 win giving up only two hits in the in the second game the Troops fell behind big and got a dramatic walk off home run, Head coach Ben Phillips.

In game two the Troops came out flat and Laramie jumped out to a 7-0 lead after two innings then the come back started.

The Troops forced extra innings scoring four runs in the bottom of the 7th inning, the teams played two more innings then came the big moment of the night with two on Cody Kilpatrick crushed a three run jack down the left field line for the walk off victory.

And Phillips made sure to give the credit for that win to Nate Killian he came in to pitch after they fell behind and shut Laramie down and gave the team a chance to come back to pick up the win.

The Troops will play a double header in Billings against the Billings Scarlets today and close out the regular season at home Friday with a return double header with the Scarlets.

The Wyoming Double “AA” state tournament starts on the 26th in Laramie.

ROCKIES BASEBALL – The Colorado Rockies dropped last night game against Seattle 6-4 the short series ends this afternoon with game two starting at 1:10 you can hear Rockies baseball on Smart Talk 106.3 FM.
