Weekend Local Sports Wrap up

TRACK AND FIELD – The Sheridan high school track teams both took the team titles at the Buffalo invitational Friday the Lady Broncs scored 153 points Thunder Basin was 2nd with 136 points the Broncs won in a run away with 207 points Thunder had 90.

The Big Horn Lady Rams were third the Tongue River girls were 6th the Tongue River boys were 5th and Big Horn was 6th,

BRONC LADY BRONC SOCCER – The Bronc and Lady Bronc soccer teams swept all four weekend games from Cheyenne Central and East the Broncs beat Central 3-2 and shut out East 3-0 the Lady Broncs beat Central 2-1 and beat East in overtime 2-1.

Lady Bronc Head coach Kevin Riser said Saturday’s OT win was a great test for the girls.

And gaining the weekend sweep was huge in the league standings.

This spring Lady Bronc soccer and all girls varsity sports are on a great run.

TROOPER BASEBALL – The Sheridan Troopers took two on the road at the in Billings Halos Saturday winning 22-0 and 5-0 their games Sunday were rained out in Laurel, Montana.

This weekend they play two in Casper Saturday and host the club team the 406 Flyers from Billings on Mother’s day

GOLF – The Bronc and Lady Bronc golfers will tee it up in their own invitational at Kendrick golf course Friday.

TENNIS – The Bronc and Lady Bronc tennis teams will close out their spring season in Billings Friday at an invitational hosted by Billings Central high school
