Weekend Local Sports Wrap up

BRONC / LADY BRONC HOOPS – The Bronc and Lady Bronc basketball teams swept games from Buffalo last Thursday then dropped home games to Billings Central Friday and then got a split in games Saturday with Laurel, Montana Saturday with the Broncs blowing our the Locos,

Laurel started fast but the Broncs got the defense going and started to pull away late in the first half, Head coach Jeff Martini.

Laurel had a couple of big post players but Bronc Junior Frank Sinclair had a great game battling inside scoring 16 points.

Friday they host Natrona county and Martini expects another good match up.

The girls game will start at 5:30 the boys game will follow and we will broadcast both games on KWYO and 106.9 FM.

BH HOOPS – The Big Horn basketball teams split games at Shoshoni Friday with the Rams picking up a nice road win Saturday they both dropped games with Southeast.

TR HOOPS – The Tongue River teams swept four weekend games the Lady Eagles beat Upton and Riverside while the Eagles beat the Thunder Basin JV and Riverside.

WRESTLERS – The Bronc wrestlers had a monster weekend winning all six Duals at the Shane Shatto invitational in Douglas the Broncs posted victories over Natrona county, Campbell county, Thunder Basin, Douglas and Cheyenne East and Central.

SWIMMING / DIVING – The Sheridan Bronc swimmers and divers picked up dual wins Friday over Natrona county, Cheyenne East and Buffalo and finished 3rd in their own invitational Saturday.

JUNIOR HOCKEY – The Sheridan Junior Hawks won two in Great Falls over the weekend by scores of 4-1 and 4-3 they are now 19-1 overall they will host Great Falls this week on Friday and Saturday night.
